How about a little contest for this weekend! In honor of those American who died defending our freedom I will throw out a couple of prizes. Whomever catches a bass that is the closest in weight to the largest smallmouth my oldest daughter catches this weekend wins. We will be at Chelan, so the smallmouth will be big! Tacklewarehouse has done a solid job at getting us a sneak preview of all the new products released this week at ICAST. Which ones are you most excited about?

I have been waiting to get my hands on those Damiki Air Craws for a while now. I'm also looking forward to fishing the Damiki Hydra grub, Gamakatsu Saiko Swivel Dropshot, and trying out the new Hydrawave.

Very impressive weights this year! It's a shame they will be draining it later this summer, since it seems this lake has finally came around in terms of a more quality fishery. It's funny the guys that won last year had the exact same weight this year, which was only good enough for 9th!
