Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

2-FER: 2 lakes in two days.
Silver Lake near Spokane on Sat, May 30th and Newman Lake on Sun, May 31st.
We're hoping to get the opportunity to fish with some Spokane local folks, make new acquaintances and have some fun.
This is an OPEN event - meaning there is no membership required to participate. A small $20 entry fee covers the pay out for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishes and permit costs.
Any questions, PM me or email me.

For this particular tournament, any contestant in any other boat can witness your fish. It'll have to be kept in the water in the net(good net recommended)untill your witness verifies your length & girth. Then you can take a pic and release her to thrill another day.
Make sure you've got a good quality net that will contain but not harm the fish for the few minutes it takes. Measuring sticks will be supplied by CMA. Everything will be explained at the morning's contestant's meeting prior to blast off.
These are fun events. Not complicated at all. Fun and the sharing of info are what's stressed. The only competition is between you and the fish. If you're looking for real competition, go elsewhere. If it's camaraderie you're after, then this is the group to join and the events to participate in.
If you have any more questions, don't hesitate.

Hi Mark,
I am very interested. Can you explain how the musky tournaments work in regards to weighing or measuring fish? I assume it isn't like a bass tournament structure.

Thanks,
Jordan
