The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

There seems to be alot of anglers who are upset about the way that the Fish and Wildlife services here are regulating the bass populations in Washington. The problem is that most anglers only express their concerns amongst themselves. This is a nationwide problem. We as sportsman are losing the battle against other animal rights activists due to the fact that they organize themselves and put forth the effort to express their opinions to the right organizations within our local and state offices. We as sportsman do not. We just keep complaining to our buddies out on the water that there are no fish left. There are effective ways to express your concerns which start by educating ourselves. Fish population and health studies by the local biologists can be obtained by contacting the proper organizations. I have been to many different states acrossed the country and have found that the local Fish and Game offices will be cooperative with assisting you in obtaining this type of information. If any of you guys are really passionate about protecting your favorite bodies of water start there. Also as far as gaining support and participation to fight for your cause the last time I checked there were 262 anglers on this website and it seems to be growing fast. The founders of this website may have initiated something this sport needs. Thank you guys for this site it is great to see that there are so many people interested in conserving our sport.

Funny stuff Shawn. They are a bunch of stinky hippies no doubt about it.

My dad and I were bowhunting for elk one time and PETA members were walking through the woods ringing cowbells. It worked out good for one guy because they ran a nice bull right into him. It almost didn't work out well for the cowbell folks because my dad is a pretty hot headed irishman.

They and other groups like them are a bunch of morons in my opinion, but they are very savy on how to work the system and they are organized. Personally I think they all just hang out to see who will finally break down and take a shower.

Eric I wish I could have seen the water treatment, that is absolutely classic.

I absolutely DESPISE PETA, and their ilk. I wonder why they don't support the same protections for an unborn baby that they would to an animal or a fish. They actually value animals more than humans. These morons would rather see 100's of deer starve to death than dozens harvested and utilized.
Once I saw some of these idiots setting up to protest a MacDonalds. I went through the drivethrough and got a breakfast sandwich and a LARGE water. I stopped right next to the guy who appeared to be the ringleader, rolled down my window, and douched him. It was awesome! The look on his face was priceless.
We should never be complacent about the battle with these morons. They disrupt hunts, protest bass tournaments, harrass and intimidate children, and try to brainwash the masses. They are also fairly well funded and have had some small successes influencing public policy in regards to wildlife management.
Now I am all worked up again and want to throw some more water :-0

Gary Morris (TBF/FLW) and I (B.A.S.S.) have been operating organizations that have worked for closely with WDFW for many years. If you are interested in working toward the goals of improving our resources consider joining one or both of these fine organizations.
