This is so ridiculous. More Wa state fund raising. I was curious though if anybody has ever noticed this being enforced? I am 30 and have been boating since about age 4. I really think this should only apply to jet skiers and high speed pleasure crafts but I doubt it actually has anything to do with safety.

Make sure you go to boatus.org website.  I almost used another web site that wanted to charge me $35 to take the test.  On this site all you have to pay is $10 fee for the application and the card when you mail it in.
