How about a little contest for this weekend! In honor of those American who died defending our freedom I will throw out a couple of prizes. Whomever catches a bass that is the closest in weight to the largest smallmouth my oldest daughter catches this weekend wins. We will be at Chelan, so the smallmouth will be big! One entry per person, must weigh, photograph, and release the fish. If there is multiple winners, I will draw a name out of a hat, to keep this thing going all weekend. I will throw out a very cool $30+lure, and a $30 gift card to one of the wafish site sponsors. You pick the sponsor...ie ASM, Spokane Valley Marine exc.....
Best of Luck!

Zach has chosen to accept a gift card to Auburn Sports and Marine. THanks ASM for help sponsoring this site!
Of the 589 bass anglers registered here, only 4 of us caught fish all weekend? J/K! Zach Chandler will be taking home the grand prize! Although I thought I would most definantly put her on a smallie over 4lbs at Chelan, that didn't pan out! Her biggest on American lake on Monday was 2lbs 12oz. Sometimes it pays to catch the little ones Mr. Chandler! Accept my friend request, so I can get your address.
Since I posted this so late, and it wasn't approved until Saturday, I will open this up on an honor system. So if you didn't take a picture that's O.K! Chelan wasn't what we expected, but I took my girls out to American this afternoon, and we weighed my oldest daughters biggest one! My girls caught 10 smallmouth in about 4 hours. Plenty of Rock Bass also. There was a few small fish that had just moved onto beds on Chelan, and the water temp was 58. Things should be getting better quick! I'll keep it rolling for people to post for a few more days.
Cool contest, Chad! I have a feeling she is going to raise the bar pretty high....
