Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

I'm a lucky old retired guy with the finances to travel to exotic places to fish. The trouble is, most resorts and outfitters require two clients per boat -- or a lone fisherman pays a hefty extra fee. My local fishing buddies either lack the interest or finances to accompany me -- and my wife is running out of energy.

If you have the resources and desire to fish some of the best places in the world, give me a call. I've caught tigerfish in Africa, peacock bass in Brazil, several species in Belize, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Mexico, Christmas Island. Sweden, Alaska, the Arctic,  etc. In the past ten years I've become a northern pike fanatic and have fished much of Canada -- including probably the best pike and lake trout lake in the world [thanks to a tip from an In Fisherman writer friend I met on one trip]. Call 509 628 1287 if you're seriously interested. [No, I'm not giving away any secret places!]

Gary,

I can't afford the time or money to go on an exotic trip with you, but since you mentioned you loved pike fishing, I would be happy to link up and take you tiger musky fishing if you are interested.  We are looking for interested folks to either join our club or just enjoy our passion for muskies.  I just wanted to throw the offer out there.  You sound like an interesting guy who would be great to fish with and share knowledge and experiences. I am also retired military - Army.  Let me know if you are interested.

Thanks - Craig,  www.cascademusky.com

Thanks for the suggestion, Jake. You make an excellent suggestion. I've used this process before, and it has worked well IF the other party and I get to meet and BS awhile to see if we're compatible. My life experiences, including the Navy, working with the public for 30 yrs, guiding other fishermen, and going on many touring and guided fishing and hunting trips since retiring 22 years ago have left me with the impression that I can get along with almost anyone (except a bleeding liberal!).

I DID have one trip with someone I could barely stand, but it didn't make much difference since my focus is on fishing and not on socializing.

Thats a pretty exotic list of places!  Very cool Gary!  I hope you find someone who has the finances and interest!

It would be a real bummer to go some place exotic and find out that you simply can't stand the person you went with.  For that reason alone, I would look to join a bass club, or just get out on the water locally with people to find personality matches.  From there, I think it would be more realistic to find someone who is up for that type of deal.

But you never know....  god works in mysterious ways!
