Today was a great day of catching on Lake Chelan for the Laketrout on
Mack Bar..We started fishing at 7:00 am and I think it took 10 minutes
and boated the first Laketrout.
Ended the day with 14 total and successfully releasing a 18lb. 3 oz. and
next in line we did keep a 11lb. 11 oz.
The Ace Hi-fly was the trick again today..I kept hammering away at the
suspended arches on The Bar to knock um dead..trolling speed was at
1.4mph and the depths that I found these were from 125 to 190ft.
I did see a few schools of our small kokanee today but we were after the
Laketrout so I didn't run a rod for the koks..A big thanks to Jerry
Mensch and Richard Hansen for fishing with me..Check out these nice
fish!!!!
