My favorite glider is a 6" Bikini Bait Co Turmoil but I also like Phantoms. I probably throw a glider 1/2 the time I'm on the water and have been pretty darn lucky with them. I like the satisfaction in working a lure to the action you think is right and then have a musky hammer it. I get plenty of satisfaction from catching muskies on other lures also but not near as much as I do from 'walking the dog' with a glider.

It's Rollie and Hellens but you got the idea. Actually it's just 'Musky Shop' these days. I've been in it a few times. Can't resist when I go back home. Gotta spend some money there ya know.
Are ya fishing the Potholes Open next month? Bryon K and I are fishing it again. I enjoy that event. Hope the weather's decent this year.

Doing well, I am always looking for those crossover baits, a predator instincts are about the same right? I really like these gliders, I can't really remember the names of some of them but I know of a few bass guys that get the Hellen and Rollie catalog.

Jr,
How the hell are ya? Good to hear from ya.
I also get a lot of smallie action on musky baits. Just goes to show how aggressive they can be.
Jerk baits like the 6" Duckatil Lures Weed Warrior Jerk seem to really attract big smallies.

Hey Mark- I don't know about tiger muskies, but I use a 7" that looks like a squawfish that murders big smallies on the river and lakes that have them, which is almost all of them. I am sure the tigers would go beserk over this bait since sqawfish and other rough fish are suppose to be their favored forage. I will try it at Tapps in about a month and a half and let you know how it works, hopefully I won't get any tooth holes in it!

Gliders are still a new concept for me but I do have one a couple, one I'm testing
in a lmb pattern, its about 7 inches. Todd tossed it a few times on Tapps and hopefully
it will deliver me a ski this year.

I got some nice looking 4" gliders from a guy on ebay. Mostly smallie/natural colors..looking forward to trying them. Will work well for the wife. Smaller and lighter baits for her to throw. her.
