Mother nature has been the bugger this week with the high winds here on
Lake Chelan but I have managed to get out and continue fishing for the
Laketrout Today Mom nature was kind to me..Flat waters with sunshine, what a nice break from the rockin and rollin..Started at Rocky point today to find a
few biters..With the Pressure Fronts that have come through the last
few days I did expect the fish bite to be a little slow but I was wrong
to actually get into a fairly good bite but they were hitting light.. Keep your presentation 1 to 3 ft. from the bottom and you will get bites..
I did troll a kokanee rod for 2 hours but not even a nibble..Weird Year for the Koks..I did expect the little silver bullets to start biting
this week but notta..I have been seeing a few schools of them but not
what I was seeing 3 weeks ago..It is like they have left the lower
basin. I am sure there are a few around but I have not been able to find
them. So everybody Keep your fingers crossed for the bite to start this
next week..Surface Temp when I started today was 50.3 degrees and when I
quit right before 12:00 was 53.4 degrees. They should be jumping in the
boat right now..
Pictured here is Joe, Steve and Bob Sager from Snohomish, with 8 of there 10 lakers..We successfully released 1 little guy to catch another
day. Lake Chelan Adventures.. Joe Heinlen www.lakechelanadventures.com 1-509-393-9665
