Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

May 29th, 2010

Today we started on Mack bar and ended on Mack bar..The Laketrout bite was fast and furious at the start but then slowed at around 10:00am. We
had over dozen hits with boating 6 real nice Laketrout. Got to say a Big
thanks to Lynn and Mike Christensen and all the children for fishing
with me again on this Memorial Day Weekend. This was the 4th Year in a
row that I have had the pleasure to take this family out on the Saturday
Morning of the busy weekend. It is always a treat for me to see the
kids every year as they mature into young adults..this was a blast..

They feed on a variety of things in our lake but there #1 food source is the Myscis Shrimp that were introduced into lake Chelan in the early 1970's..They do eat Pike Minnow, kokanee, Trout, and other critters but mostly the shrimp..Very high in nutrition for these deep water fish..Thanks for commenting and I hope this answers your question..Feel free to contact me anytime by cell# 1-509-393-9665

Good job.
What do those fish eat most of the time? They sure are fat.
