I saw one there fanning a bed last year on a gravel flat in the first lake by the park. Went back 2 weekends in a row after that to see if I could catch it and give it the wood shampoo, but nowhere to be found. I think there may be a few that were transplanted, but I would hate for them to get in there and take that lake over - way to good of a green fishery for that to happen. Look what happened to Goodwin as an example.... What was a killer green fishery turned into Brown city!

My father caught one in the middle lake in the mid 90's. Haven't fished that lake since.

Shawn: Reponding to your Post...as most know the original Washington Bass Association Members own the Gemmer Property (Cemment Dock) middle Lake Roesiger and the 26 acres.. is were the Washington Bass held yearly gathering..I have Fished this Lake more than Anyone over my Life...And there is No Smallmouth in the Lake now anyone with a Bass Boat could transfer some as we all know, but the Lake is not set up for Smallmouth..Since 1984 and the Purchase of the Gemmer Property i was Dissabled for some 15 year period and stayed at Lake and Fished it Everyday for 15 years..I Snorkeled the entire lake every inch dock and flats and I never saw Smallmouth, Ever! Now with this said i did find 3 KOI straight across from Boat Launch, on Undeveloped Bank..Hope this Helps You and if your fishing Roesiger and see members out on property can stop in and ask anyone if Smallmouth been spotted use my name if like, my Mom's motorhome is the older (Holiday Rambler) by the building..And if You would like to know more about the fishing in this lake feel free to contact me! Back in 1954 this lake was listed as one of the Best Bass Lakes in the State, I still believe it is..another one believe it or not Lake Ballinger Edmonds..Good Fishing
