Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

Hey everyone. I would like to thank Jordan since I'm new to the site. Everything I have read is very helpful and makes me really pumped to get out on the water this spring. I am kinda new to fishing the West side of Washington, but am not really new to bass fishing (have been doing it since I was 13 now am 19 mostly, on Potholes and Moses and some of the seeps in that area). Would love to spend some time on Lake WA in the back of someone's boat since I'm not really able to devote the money or time to getting a tourney bass boat and fishing competitively yet since I am in school and work. But weekends are pretty open for me and all summer for the most part. Want to get into some of those nice Smallies you guys are talking about. The 3 rivers seminars have also been very helpful as well thanks Nick B. for letting me know about those. I live in the north Seattle about 10 minutes from Magnuson Ramp and will gladly kick in for gas. I fish out of a 14 foot aluminum Westcoaster on this side of the mountains, since I do salmon and trout sometimes as well and only have room and money for 1 boat, but Bass is my passion. Really looking to get to know and fish with some of you guys and get an idea of where to start on WAWA THANKS everyone fun fishing!

Hay Pj have considered fish BASS federation Nation, we are always in the need for non-boaters. We have two tournaments June 13th and 14th at Banks and Aug 22nd and 23 at Sammamish. If money is a issue, we have a non team entry which allows the person to fish but cant qualifie for state team. You dont have to pay entry fees all you have to pay is your dues and split gas money. You can enter the option pots if you wish. My son and a couple of other guys did it last year and they learned a ton, because everyday they fished with a new guy.

Thanks eveyone I appreciate the invites. Its going to be good here soon I hope if the weather picks up and I look forward to getting to know you guys this spring and summer. Just drop me a line here if anyone has a spot on an upcoming trip. And Thanks Rodney I was thinking about the Western Bass Club since I spoke to some of the guys in the club when I was at Cabelas last and it sounded really interesting. Plan on following up with that here soon. I am not really a beginner fisherman, just need a little guidance out on the big lake. Ok NickBarrFishing that would be great I am just 10 minutes away from Sand Point just let me know when you are heading out. Am kinda busy but would make time if I had a bit of notice. Thanks Jordan, Nick everyone! :)

You can feel free to come fishing with me sometime, I usually launch out of Sand Point as my Dad works at the community center there.

The Western Bass Club has monthly fish-ins on various lakes in the area. We leave no man on shore and its a great way to learn more, meet great people and chili dog shore lunches are the best. Feel free to check out the web site, westernbassclub.com.

There are a lot of smaller lakes not far from here where your 14footer would be great to drop in as well. There are plenty of areas on WAWA you can launch it too if the weather cooperates and you stay out of the main channels.

Hi PJ,
between Nick having a new boat and myself in my skeeter, we'll make sure to get you out for some smallie action on the big lake. Not to worry, good fishing is only about a month away now (hopefully). I'll stay in touch.
