Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

Hi there Seattle Bass Anglers,

Jay McNamara here...some of you may remember me from my writing on performance psychology and tournament fishing with FLW and Bass Edge. I am in the process of relocating to the North Bend/Issaquah area this spring (2016). I'd be curious to know if any Seattle area/Eastside bass clubs need another member. I've been through the extremely intense stage of tournament fishing, and while still competitive, I prefer a collegial rather than cutthroat atmosphere. Also, I'm open to doing presentations for your club on how you can maximize the mental side of the competitive angling experience.
Cheers

Jay

Jay T McNamara, I hope you see my reply.  I would like to personally thank you for being the guest speaker at the WBC meeting last night.  It was easily one of the most beneficial club entertainment nights I've seen in my on and off 12 years with the club.  I hope I can make more meetings, see you again, and maybe even fish against you soon.  Don't beat us up too hard haha.

Hi Rodney,

Thank you for your quick response.  It looks like I may be in the Seattle area on both the 17th of February and the 16th of March, and so I could come to your monthly meeting of Western Bass in Auburn.  A presentation would be fun to do, and I'm open to either date.  If you have a particular topic, let me know, otherwise we'll just cover several areas of sport psychology and fishing.

Cheers

Jay

JT, first let me thank Troy for kind and true words. I am with Western Bass Club and I extend an open invite to you to come to a meeting soon. We meet in Auburn at the Round Table Pizza. Address is on our Web site at Westernbassclub.com. I am interested in having you speak at a meeting. Welcome to the Great Pacific Northwest.

Welcome jay! I used to live in that area and you are kind of in an in between zone. You can either drive south 30-45min to some of the clubs in the southend like Western bass club, evergreen, and the hawghunters. Or drive north 30-45 min and you have WBA, cast masters, or northend bass club.

While I encourage you to check out each clubs website or Facebook as a former and possibly future member of western bass club and WBA I would recommend joining either of those two. since they collaborate their tournaments you can see which club suits you best.

Western is a non affiliated club with no ties to flw or bass while WBA is an flw club.
