Not many anglers from the Pacific Northwest ever get in a national publication. Well I'm Glad to say that one of us has made it and the article is VERY GOOD! Please check out the article in the above link.
Thanks!!!!!

Nice articles. We need to get you out to fish some of the NWB tournaments when you get your boat back on the water. It's an eye opener having to catch the fish against a 100+ teams of very good to great anglers. I swear some of these guys can catch a ten pound bass in a mud puddle and are competitive at the pro level.

On another note the log is a great idea. I just started doing it this year and have already found it to be useful. I personally use a little pocket notebook and then later enter it into my log on my computer. I don't count the dinks but might make note of them.

I fish the Dalles area the most. May is a great month on the Columbia River!

Are you fishing the Stevenson area the most? The backwaters around there just load up during the spring some of the best are not accessible by boat. I have a few friends that catch 50-60 a day from their pontoon boats none under 2 pounds and a few over that 5# mark with alot in that 3.5 to 4.5 pound mark. Most tourneys down there are won with over 23# and 18# doesn't even get looked at, at least in the spring. Later in the year it seems to be around 18 # to win when the fish leave those backwaters and enter the main current.

All the bass photos are from this year. One or two of the bass in the photos were landed using spinner bait. Also noting that 98% of the bass I landed this year were from shore or from my pontoon boat as you can see from the photos. I think that is somewhat impressive. Just think of what I can do with my bass boat back on the water next year!!!!

I'm another who had his post deleted Roger. Hopefully you didnt find my post offensive either, because all I stated was that not just "one of us had made it". A recent case in point would be Marc on the cover of B.A.G.

Anyway...like I said...I thought the article was good. Shouldnt be any reason to be offended or feel the need to remove the post right?
