Hi everyone
My name is Roger I guided on Silver Lake for many years (over 10). I fished the lake the year the dam had a hole in it. and half the lake was high and dry. and I documneted lots of cover that I never known about before. I have vast knowlage of this water and the bass. I have been working on a Book of silver lake spots, patterns and tips. I have a GREAT map of silver. If you would like a good copy email me at Rogerlu@tek.com.
To look at the map you can check this link:

but it is lower quality that the email version.

If you would like to fish Silver with me for the great information like how to fish a spot and when. I would be up for that.
Thanks!
Roger

I still plan on coming down Roger. Waiting for the weather to warm and will have to come to terms with your obvious truth that getting on the water during the dark of dawn is the ticket, for salmon or spiny rays. Connecting with 20 bass would help!
You are no longer guiding if I understand correctly . . living in Oregon????
PS Thanks again for your map . . . but you can't beat fishing with a knowledgeable fisherman.

David or any one my phone # is 503-333-4703
I can talk fishing with the best of ya.
My #1 tip for silver is fish VERY early. I would put by boat in the water in the dark and get to the first spot as it was just starting to get light out. now run and gun and you can get 20 bass in a couple hours. Some good early morning spots are: waldon island, far west piling row, sucker creek pilings, timber point, pad edges & one of my favorite shallow Rocks.
Lets fish silver some time!

Might just take you up on that, since I have 3 tourneys there this year with various bass clubs I fish with.
