Hey Russ-Thanks for the friend request. I don't have a boat anymore so I'm really out of touch. I'm retired now so I always find a way to go fishing. It's in my blood. I hope all is well with you.....Frank
Hey there! nope, havnt pulled a 7+ from potholes yet. the one in the profile photo was just an oz under 6lb on my scale if i remember right? lol once i switched too the jig, it was female after female, 4 1/2 and up. I hoping too get into some smallies there next time. But first is tapps this weekend, then banks next weekend. How big was hog in that pic??
I am looking for an older bass boat. Like 1998 - 2003. First choice would be a Ranger, then a Skeeter and so forth. Mark C. said you may have something in that hasn't been advertised yet.
RE: the sportsman show, probably not. Between shoveling out of the snow, I am in the middle of my production time, etc. However, I do have pro staffers, back east, that have been going to various shows and representing my product. We'll see how that goes. I need more support in the state to justify going to such a show. I would love to, but, have to pick my battles based on $$ and interest.
What kind of $$ are you referring to at cost? Reason, my son and I have been talking about teaming up and was wondering what your status was for a staffer. Last Oct. it was our intent to stop and visit you when on a marketing trip, but, time wasn't in favor of it. None the less, we may be interested if the price is right. Plus, what would be expected of a staffer for your company?
You know, I really undstand how these guys think. They protect those they have grown the closest to or know personally. They are just protecting their interest. You have to be careful what you say or how you say it because someone is going to take it a whole different direction than what it may have been intended. None the less, a new biz has to be persistant and hard skinned. As I have said, the proof is in the puddin. You just have to stick it out, push your porduct and if you have a good one, in time, you'll develop a following. No matter what is said, I know I have a good product and there are some good anglers out there using them and the word will get out eventually.
By the way, were you the guy that had the Phoenix over at the Pot Holes open last April? Nice looking boat, but, not a lot of options I could see. If any what are they?

Hey Russ!
No, I have never ridden in a Phoenix but have seen them around. They seem like nice boats and look good! What is your ProStaff situation like?
Thanks, Taylor
I can bring some next time I am up your way but it's not very often. Have you had a chance to check out the website? I can email you a dealer postcard and wholesale price sheet if you're interested. Trust me, if you like the concept then you will like the product. The packaging looks great and the price point is dead on so that retailers can earn the margins they would expect.
Yes Sir! The top water in the fall is the best! I am going nuts up here, I would spend all winter on Shasta having a blast with the Spots! I have not been able to get out since we moved up in November. Is there anything going on this time of year? I would guess the Smallmouth will turn on any time? Are there any tournament circuits worth fishing in the area?

Thanks Russ,
I don't have an exact move date yet as I am selling my house here in MN.
I'll for sure check out your marine dealership when I get there. I'll be in touch later this spring as I know more.

Thanks Russ, I been getting lucky. Looking forward to this years season and trying out new waters.
Hi Russ,
Sorry I couldn't make it over to the meeting this week. Have been very busy and was busy this weekend with a college visit with my daughter.
I'll send you an email, with some thoughts I was hoping to discuss there.
Steve
