Thanks for the info Chad. Not sure if the jig have changed, but they have a little wire keeper for the trailers, so if you thread them on all the way, if they get pulled down for any reason they are ruined. A paca chunk hooked through the head will never contact the wire for example. I would love to start making my own jigs much line Ron, his jigs look amazing. Are you pouring your own heads and everything, or just buying skirt materials ? If I could get painted heads like Rons, and start mixing and matching colors that would be great. Where do you buy your materials ? Thanks again.

Hey Chad. I see on WBC's page you got Black Angel jigs in your sig. Do you use them exclusively ? I bought like 5 packs and they are pretty cool but the trailer keeper in my opinion sucks. It tears up my trailers faster than any other jig I've used. Have you had this problem, or do you modify them in any way ??

That was the 7 lb 15 oz smallie I caught prefishing for the NW bass. As you guys recall, the Brown's hooked a 7.8 during the NW championship-better timing! And this was the second biggest of the year for members of the Columbia Basin Bass Club, a friend caught an 8 lb. 4 oz smallie in May on the Columbia! Mine was photographed, courtesy of Mike Gibney of Portland, and released. it's good to see a local site up and running. Ken Day, did you guys do the Monster Bite Walleye Tourney this year already?
