If the Pheonix is built like a Stratos then buy a Triton or a Skeeter. I owned a Stratos and the transom had to be rebuilt just to sell it. It was only 6 years old but had a pretty low resale value.

I looked at the Phoenix during the jamboree and the quality and construction looked to the same as on my buddies Stratos. Same trim pieces and quality of fiberglass. But definantly not up to the quality of the fit and finish of the Ranger. Looking at them side by side was an eye opener.

And what a joke. No bass boat will go 70 in a 4 foot chop.

You asked me too... I knew it was the only way I was going to be allowed out of the car I was being held at gun point in. I think most people would make that choice, but it was the worst day ever.
