Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

So how was everybody's weekend? Lots of guys at Banks, Potholes, Sammamish, and ??? How did you do?!

I was at Moses Sat. morning but didn't have much luck. Water level is still down, all docks out of the water or VERY shallow... A few smallies were biting but not all that great. So I went to Potholes for the evening bite. Caught a few nice smallies. Sunday I just decided to go straight back out to Potholes. Fishing was good! Smallies were biting good for me, caught a nice limit and called it a day after only a 3 hours.

Got stuck in the TRAFFIC!!!!!!!! on snoqualmie heading home. Took over 6 hours in what is usually a 3 hour trip... At least the weather was awesome all weekend!

nice job styles - I caught a couple of logs on the hobbs pig jig yesterday myself lol. Im just happy I didnt lose it.
Man I need to make a few more of those jigs, for myself, they are so time consuming though. Sounds like we might to beef up the brush guard? That can be done, glad some Have had success on the jigs I tied. GOOD JOB TAG! you da' man
Hey Ron, the jig you made me was awesome! I caught a couple nice largies out of Big Lake on it the other day. I did lose it out of sheer stupidity on my part though...I skipped a dock and got stuck on a nail sticking out of the dock...I checked my line and identified a weak spot...it had been a while since I had been bit though and I was going through "unproductive" water at the time so i figured I would wait to retie until I finished fishing this particular point. Wouldn't you know it that at the tip of the point there was a dock with a couple big boulders on it and as soon as I pitched under the dock my line started swimming sideways...I reared back on the fish and my 15 lb. fluorocarbon snapped before I even felt the pressure of the fish! I know you aren't trying to sell any of those jigs at the moment but if you do decide to at some point, let me know because I would love to buy a few more. I would love to pour jigs myself and I know it is pretty safe for the most part but my dad is a doctor and I don't think he would ever speak to me again if I told him I was pouring lead frequently!
