Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

Hey guys,

My folks are trying to plan a last minute family get away over in eastern Washington for my sisters Birthday. I figure that if the family is going to spend a couple of days in the sun on a lake, it might as well be a lake that I can do some Bass fishing on. My only problem is that I'm not to familiar with the EW lakes. We were thinking about a cabin, houseboat, or condo that sleeps 10-15. Any ideas?

Lake Chelan rocks for BIG smallies and Roosevelt is great for shear numbers, 50 fish days are common this time of the year, but not alot of size.

Sunbanks Resort on Banks Lake has several different types of accomodations, from tenting to multi-bedroom houses.
Yeah Banks is where I was trying to convince everybody to go, but they fill up so fast I figured they would be booked. I think we might try chelan.
I was just over at Banks staying at Sunbanks resort last week. Its a beautiful resort but is a hassle for boat owners especially bass boats. I fished both Banks and Roosevelt and both lakes were awesome. Houseboats on Roosevelt are pretty expensive. We stayed in a house at Sunbanks that had all the amenities anyone could want. Daniel feel free to shoot me a message if you want more info.
I'd agree with Sun banks, and add Mardons on Potholes we usually spend a week at one or the other each year and have a blast. The ability to rent PWC's is a nice feature of Sun Banks. You really can't go wrong with either. Chelan is great too but you will likely find accommodation more pricey. If you want to do the house boat thing, Roosevelt is great for that. Enjoy.
I second banks lake / roosevelt area! There are a lot of areas to stay in between the two and great fishing.
