Fixing problematic/unsmooth spinning reels?
Hey guys,
So I have a Shimano Symetre that is less than a year old, it has gotten kind of grindy/unsmooth, and can be difficult during stop and go retrieves. I fished rivers hard this past winter for steelhead and I believe that the sand from 30-40 days out on rivers has messed up the smoothness considerably.
My Q is if anyone else has experienced this and how to try and fix it?
Any help would be highly appreciated! thx guys.

I'd say start with a disassemble/cleaning/lube. See what happens after. If it isn't right after, or you aren't comfortable with doing it yourself, send it out for repairs. I do all of my reels myself. You can also check youtube for tips or repairs.
