Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

So i have been looking around to buy some oil for my boat since I'm down to my last little bit left. Joes is gone and that's where i bought my quicksilver. I have been looking into changing to AMSOIL-HPI

Anyone have input on AMSOIL?   I know its synthetic so I would have to clean out my reservoir so I do not mix the 2 oils. Should i just stick with Quicksilver to avoid any hassles?

"If its not broke don't fix it"

Any input will be appreciated

I have an old 96 Merc. 150EFI

Thanks for the input fellas. I am going to run quicksilver for another gallon or so and check plugs and stuff like that. Do some more research and make a final decision then.

I'll let you know the out come.

I forgot to ask what kind of motor you have. New fuel injected E-tech & Merc need the 100% synthetics oils Old ones like my 120hp carb model does not need but I use the synthetic blend & it works great & the cost is only little more. With a blend no need to empty the old stuff out. I have checked the Pennzoil out & it seems to be best bang for the $ and I can not find one thing that shows me it is not the same stuff as the others. Every thing else cost close to or as much as the brand name stuff so why bother.
