Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

I just thought it would be cool to find out how everyone got into Bass Fishing. Was it a family member or you saw it on TV and thought it would be fun or bay accident?

I personally got started by my uncle Jason and have had loads of fun learning from him and friends.

I was born and raised in south west North Dakota, as a kid went with my cousin and uncle fishing for yellow bull heads. As we got a little older we used to fish the spill way of a local dam for northern pike using our zebco 203 combo's and red and white dare devel spoons. Also was taken on many trout and walleye fishing trips. When I finished high school and left home I never fished too much as rodeos, girls and beer became my priorities, not necessarly in that order. Then I married a girl from a walleye fishing family and got back into it. I then joined the U.S. Army and got stationed at Ft. Lewis, at that time my tackle was bottom bouncers, inline spinners, dare devel spoons and 2 Rapala minnow baits. Then one day on Johnson's Marsh while fishing for trout with a Rapala I caught my first large mouth bass......... Hooked on bass I was.
