Jeff,
I been bass'n in Michigan , Tennessee, Georgia. And all those states have many individual tourneys. The only clear difference that kinda stands out like sore thump when we comparing washington to other states , is the small bass community here in this state ..

Example: NWBASS can and will pull 120+ boats for a team tourney and other than Pro-circuits like FLW and Stren there is no other bass circuits to fish here .

In other state like Tennessee they have BFL, Stren, FLW,BASS, etc .. plus the bass community are like 20 times bigger when compared to washington .. Man a saturday morning marina tourney down there will draw 100 boats for indiv tourney, and over a weakend there are always tourneys going on . Night tourneys, 2 hour touneys, atleats 30 different opens etc ..

My point is that if we had twice the amount of bass anglers here in this state , individule tourneys would be a common thing !! Hopefuly down the road as more kids get involved and help grow our bass community things will at somepoint change ..Jus my two copperheads!
