Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

Anyone ever fished either of these? And is it worth a stop on the way to Chelan?

We have a day to kill and we've talked about it for years and never turned left off of Hwy 2 to find out.

I would'nt go there for bass but if your looking for trout I was just at Fish Lake Sunday morning fly fishing out of a tube and I got alot of rainbows about 11-14. It gets windy so...
I have some friends that have gotten some pretty big bass out of fish lake, i know a spinnerbait works good there. Chelan right now is really good for smallies, i had a club tournament there last weekend and 18 lbs won it with 5.83 being big fish
Fish Lake...the one near Omak? Good luck getting a boat in there. The launch is crappy, but there are both LM and SM in there.
As far as I know there are not any bass in Lake Wenatchee. Fish lake has a few in it and I have caught some on occasion up there. Most of the time I just take the kids there to catch a whole bunch of perch and trout though.
Hey Todd..Fish lake is a multi-species Lake with Nice largemouth bass, Triploid Bows, Big Browns and Perch...hope this helps...Tell Scott at the Cove Resort that you guys know me and he may fill you in on the hotspots
Thanks Joe, we'll probably give it a few hours on Monday.
Will be sure to say hello when we get to Chelan.
