So are they going to release the blanks for builders?

Ryan, yes, the blanks are actually available right now if you order them from Anglers Workshop in Woodland (next door to Lamiglas).

The new blank catalog will be printed by January 1, and the blanks will be in this catalog.

I may have to order the 2 power spinning rod blank in the Infinity, and have Rick Innocenti cut 4-6" off the tip and make me a dropswimmin rod.

ciao,
Marc Marcantonio

Thanks Marc, I hadnt seen them on the Lami website yet.

A custom built Infinity with thread wraps to match your Steez??? Damn...

It's possible.  That or a Megabass Orochi X4 Destruction ha ha....  I would prefer to wrap the Lami myself if the rod fits the bill.  Looking for a very versatile heavy rod for footballs, small swimbaits, larger spinnerbaits, etc and the Destruction has that covered to a T.  Might just wrap one for a tube rod for our favorite lake!

Tag, what model of the Infinity would you recommend for throwing hula grubs/beavers on 1/2-3/4oz football heads?  The 735?  I'm not too familiar with Lamiglas powers

Hi DJ,

I would recommend the 723 for those applications.

Question on the Lamiglas Pro X....

I noticed on the Tackle WH website that the photos of the Pro X spinning rods show a naked rod blank past the label but on the casting rods the photos show a glazed blank above the label. Are these photos correct? Anyone see them in person yet?

I went down to Sportco today hoping to get my hands on one of the Infinity rods, but of course, they didn't have any.  I did however play around with one of their salmon/steelhead rods, which by looking at them, are the same technology as the Infinity line.  They were the SI series.  All I have to say is WOW!  These rods were so light it was ridiculous.  In all honesty, they were the most comfortable rod I have ever put in my hands.  I really like this new design and will be picking up a couple very soon.

Wait until you feel the Infinity bass rods! Looking forward to hearing your feedback.
