Motorguide wireless Q?
So, a few years ago, my old man decided it was time for a trolling motor. Get ride of the little weak 35lb motorguide, I thought "COOL" upgrade to a 101lb heck yeah! but sadly no.... a 12 volt 55lb wireless. its a good motor but startin off in the mourning when you turn it on, you have to hit the + button 7 times before the blade starts turning, then acouple more to actually get going. would it be bad ju ju to hook it up 24 volt being that that it says 12 volt??? like i said, its a good motor, but i carry 3 battery's in the boat and when that wind picks up, 55 just dont cut it.

Yea it will work for a couple of seconds than will turn into a new boat anchor for you. You will over heat the wires and fry the motor. I highly recommend you do not try that.

thats good too know lol I figure ill put that wireless on the skeeter john boat, put the other back on when i trade the boat in. thanks!!!
