Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

Hi guys. I'm not much of a computer guy but I can peck with one finger. I've got some good friends in the Pac North West and i'm sure to make more. I'm not sure on all your posting rules as I'm not a board sponsor "yet". We have added a couple of dealers lately and i want to thank them for the business. Backlash Tackle, Three River's Marine and FarWest Sports are now Dobyns Rod dealers.  Willie Nelson is our company rep in your area. If we can ever help with anything, please let us know.

dobynsrods.com is our website and our shop number is 530-671-1989 Ask for me or Richard

Wish we had FLW back up there this year. Oh well, maybe next year.

Good fishing to all.

Gary, I went to 3 Rivers tonight, picked up a DX 701 SF.

Can't wait to give it a try, I wanted a 702, so I guess I will probably own both judging by the feel of this rod. I really like the handle, and how easy it is to keep contact with the blank.

Your pro staffers were very helpful.

Welcome Gary.

I am going to have to hit Three Rivers soon for one of your DX 702SF rods.

Do you have a recommended spinning reel for that rod?

I fish drop shot, tubes mostly for smallmouth and that rod looks like a serious upgrade for me. Can't wait to buy that setup and take it for a long weekend fishing.

I am out of DX 702 SF. That rod got way popular. I am out of two models only. It's very sensitive and light. I use a Daiwa Certate 2500 but honestly for the money that Excellor is a steal. The Sol is very popular also.
