Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

Was out at terrell yesterday and saw no trespassing signs blocking off "spawning grounds" on both sides of the lake. Have these signs always been here and I have just missed them each time? If they are just for the bedding season does anybody know when they come down? They do come down, right?

Not sure on the dates exactly but signs will come down at  the end of goose nesting season and yes they are there every year.
Oh, so it is for the geese and not the bass. I get it. Thanks, Brandon.

The signs used to be up till June 1st of every year. But when Tom left and that girl took over the land management there it changed to July 15th for some reason. Hopefully the new guy that is in charge changes it back, but Im not holding my breath. Ive also been told the you cant go back there to fish, but you can go back there to take pictures..... Whats really the difference? Bass fishermen arent jumping out on the islands and chasing the geese. Either way I guess it protects the bass spawning area from disturbance and I all for that. Now if we can keep the "meat" fishermen out of there.......
The whole lake is a spawning ground
Glad to see your back!DB
