You should be able to throw anything anywhere that time of yr and catch fish

If you are fishing for numbers, just tryin to have some fun, or have some newbs fishing with ya you can pretty much catch them all day right now at the dam. They'll be easy taking in the morning in the shallow water just like it is in October all throughout the South end of the lake (a little more scattered in the North), but you will have to adjust quickly once the suns is up, find some current, and fish in about 10-25 foot of water. You will burn through your softbaits quickly. I highly recommend Elaztech for this time of year fishing the dam as it will save you serious coin...

Ill be out there this weekend, but will probably be glued to my electronics hunting for giants in the dunes area. Cannot give you any advice on that as I am still trying to figure em out myself on this reservoir. The water level changes so much it is a new lake every time I fish it. Might get frustrated and head to Moses and slam em by fishing the nastiest algea infested water I can find (:
