Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

My father, and I will be there both days. I also know that Gary Stiles said he would be there with his secret silver lake weapon! Who else? I'm looking forward to it, and personally can't wait to put this weekend behind me.

Are you sure you want to spend the ENTIRE day with DeLay on a boat? Been there, done that...

I have nothing cooking this weekend maybe Delay and I will stop by to take some money.
Although it will kill me, I have to miss this trip. I'm in So. CA for my daughter's college graduation (UCI).

I am managing to visit some of my old stomping grounds though, like Vail Lake...

Good looking football, Marc. Congrats to your daughter on her wonderful accomplishment.
Thought you might approve of that one, Jon (I saved the photos with the GQ poses for the magazines to appear later).

Picked up some nice secret swimbaits while I was here...Eric will be jealous!

ciao,
Marc

I have those exact sandals. Tell me if you are wearing them to a tourney so we can match.

I remember! Or let's just say....I can't seem to forget. The tactics for smallmouth fishing in February on Sammamish is just a little bit different than the strategies that need to be imposed on a succesfull tournament outcome on this mud-puddle.

What ever do you meen Chad? I beg to differ, a succesfull tournament depends upon the amount of luck that one takes into that tournament, did you forget about the Unicorn.
Did you fish the Silver Lake tournament about 4 years ago, ABA Had it there about the same time of the year? This year will be different because I think it is earlier in the year.

I hope everyone catches at least one fish this weekend on that cess pool as for Eric and I we hope we just make it there.

What time is registration?
I think this year will be much different. Last year we had one of the very few limits for a mamoth 6.5lbs. Funniest thing was, they were all jig-fish. I challange anyone to go catch a limit that small on jigs at that lake! NO they weren't bitsy jigs either! I think registration will probably resume until you guys show up.

Eric, check your closet...those are your sandals! I was looking for your rocker outfit but you must have had it at the dry cleaners; and I heard you had a lucky pair of sandals that are the secret to your jig bite! Man, what do you grease those things up with, Megastrike Garlic?

Ron, yea that is a Merc and I'm really tempted to take the bait, but I'll be nice and let you off the hook on this one. Actually, I have a Merc on my Boston Whaler, and I don't mind the racket they make anymore now that my hearing isn't as good. Maturing has its advantages.

Thanks Tag...now that I'm not paying out of state tuition I will have some more money for swimbaits. Don't sell all your tackle, you will get to do more fishing than you think.

Hope you all have fun at Silver Lake. I predict the white blade bite (with silver blades) on hard shallow areas will win the tourney; but you will need at least one kicker buzz bait, frog, jig, or Senko bite to go with the limit.

ciao,
Marc
Very funny Marc. I really do have those sandals though, I wasn't joking. As for the band's outfits, you were at the wrong house. The Three Stooges will have to help you out there. Also I think that "maturing" is a great way to put a happy face on "aging" but is something that no one (two words Potter/Grimes) has ever accused me of doing. Shocking I know.

Did Mark make a funny? It's like a new leaf. I have not seen the lighter side of Mark.
