Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

I have never thrown swimbaits before. Would like a few pointers on the best type to buy, best ways to rig them and how and where to fish them..

I appreciate your help.

Thank you

My all time favorite was the Castaic's Platinum trout (not baby bass, they don't swim right).  Their Catch 22 has sort of replaced it.  It's OK, but a bit heavier.  Their Hard Head (not the Rock Hard) is really great too.  It has a bill, so its a swim/crank hybrid. These come in a TON of colors, too.  If anyone reading has not tried a Hard Head, toss one in the cart next order.

I recently picked up a bunch of ABT Banshees.  They look great in the water.  I have not used them much yet, so I cant vouch for real, but most reviews rave.

I always seem to get 6" slow sink baits and countdown in deeper water.  I usually slow roll along lily pad edges trying to run as parallel and close as practical to the weedline.

But they always match my rain gear...
