Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

Hey, just wondering if anyone has hit up Tapps in the last few days. I was wondering what the water temp was? Seems like it may be a little early there still, was thinking of going out there in the next couple weeks. Heard from a buddy that he got a couple but not hot action by any means, just wondering if any of you guys that know what you are doing have been out there.

I was on Tapps several days ago...at that time the temps hovered from 47-50 degrees.
Last I heard as of this morning(Sunday) the temps were 53. Last week we found alot of fish
suspended from sub-surface to around 25feet in depths ranging from 15-50 feet.
(I hope that makes sense,I'm half asleep) Even had a smallie charge my crankbait but wouldn't comit.
Good luck out there
You can't believe Kevin, he's a muskie guy. When he says "Crankbait" he means 12" 4oz wooden dowel with a plastic lip! I am not a guy who knows what he is doing, but catching smallies out there has been pretty sparse. I will be out for a few hours tomorrow morning after I drop one of my boys off at school. I'll be searching and hitting up some of my usual spots for a bite or two. Hopefully the heat has woken them up and they have tied on the feed bag. Pictures and temps to follow...
Chris-you be bust'n my ballz(haha)
Good luck out there tomorrow, the weather is turning south on Wednesday.
Water temps at 57 to 58, visibility still nonexistent, but the water is starting to settle out. A few different boats out this morning, talked to a few and all without fish. If nobody catches fish soon, people will stop fishing here and I will have the place to myself...(Evil Laughs) HA, HA, HA!
