Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

Several years ago while fishing a B.A.S.S. event in the Tri Cities I drew Ron Mace.  At that time he was running a Bullet boat and as we completed our run to the Snake I asked him "How fast were we going"?  I think he said in the low 90's.  I know Bass fishermen are proud of their boats and performance. I thought it would be interesting to hear what everyone is running, set up, and performance.

Probably, but that is quite different from the max recommended RPM. I can only go by the words used in the questain. :-) And guess from there. lol

I think what there asking was whats the rpms for speeds he is getting.

If the rpm range goes up to 6,000, then THAT is the max rpm, I would think.

Here's the info on the 250. You'll note it is just about the same as the 225. :-)

6000 RPM is max for the 250 SHO.
2007 RANGER Z20 WITH 225 E-TECH MAN JACK PLATE
DUEL CONSOLE
27 RAKER PROP
RUNNING LAKE WASHINGTON AT 72MPH WITH GEAR AND RIDER MOST OF THE TIME ITS 68 OR SO LOOKING TO KEEP IT IN THE 70+ RANGE
Brian,

I am planning to play with the set up in another week, hopefully before the Potholes Open to see what the SHO will do on this boat. We are also going to adjust the height on the 225 SHO on the 19-8" 719 Phoenix because we are also hitting mid 70's on this as well at 5300 RPM.

Thanks Russ.
So if right now you're running 5,300 hundred and getting high to mid 70s
I would think if you get 6,000 rpms out of that motor you should be in the mid 80s or more.
