Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

Just wanted to thank the Chelan Bass Club for and WSBF for putting on a great event.

Guest speaker Brett Hite discussed how he approaches new water, and also a lot about keeping mentally and physicaly prepared. Very intersting and entertaining. Brett fielded a ton of questions. The food was great, as was the raffle... very surprising grand prize. The trap shooting and wine tasting were well attended and everyone seemed to have had a great time. Joe Jacoby named for lifetime achievment, Joe has been dedicated to WSBF and the bass anglers of WA for years. Thanks also need to go out to Gary Morris and Larry Williams for their dedication over the years. Kim Skaar, Roy Van Slyke and all the members of CBC "Great Job"

Well I look forward to fishing the qualifier on Moses. Half the fun of these events is getting out and fishing different lakes that you don't get a chance to fish every weekend. I get enough of lake washington from other events throughout the year. Why do you act like easter wa is so far away? Our state isn't really all that big...

How ironic that there is still one permit available for Lake Wa in August! That would be too easy........Also how ironic that everyone I've spoken to about the qualifiers was down with my idea of two westside tournies for numerous reasons. I guess Russ, and I talk to different people. I'll just have to bring my voice to the March federation meeting.......oh wait that is in Eastern Washington also. I vote we have the August tourny at Lake Kechelus and put this to rest! Doucet said:

My suggestion is moving the august to Lake Washington :

Guys, it doesn't matter where, when, or what body of water.  Shut up or put up.  If your a stick, you will rise to the top regardless the body of water, when your asked to fish it.  The schedule is set 6 months to a year in advance, and asking everybody to lift and shift dates, bodies of water, and times of the year is an exercise in fruitility.  You can't make all the people happy all of the time.  Stick to the calendar that has been set and just go fish.  The good sticks will figure it out and make the team regardless of the conditions.  Everyone can argue for this and that reason, they are all REAL argurments, but bottomline, a decision has been made, dates set, and now it's time to pick up your rods and fish!!!

Well said Mark... Moses late should be a challenge, isnt that the point of a tournament? Figure it out.

I agree with Kevin, Mark, and Keith.
