C'mon folks...
Do musky fishermen really not know there is a 50" inch limit on these critters? Talked to a dude today who had "no idea" there is a 50 inch limit? He was really proud he caught one after the spring plant. Under sized. Took it home and ate it! Really? Doesn't anyone ever read the regs on a particular species they are fishing for? C'mon guys/girls, fisherpersons...really!?
If Cascade Musky Association can post a photo of the sign that was made a few years back can ya post one so folks can see it since they can't seem to read. Thanks

Talking to various bass anglers over the years, it's hard to believe how little most know about the regs. In fact it's darn right embarrassing! Some Bass clubs even have by-laws that hold their members to the highest of standards. Even though, I feel I know the regs better than most game wardens, I always carry a set with me. I encourage all to do the same. I also encouage people to not hesitate to call authorities if they see a violation. There isn't enough game wardens to go around, and there never will be due to the distribution of funds.

No doubt,pretty shocking. I seem to run into this on a somewhat regular basis whether its directly speaking with an angler or the infamous "this guy I know". Its hard work but keep spreading the word on the 50 inch limit. I'll jump back in a bit,home from our CDA pike trip,even dropped the boat in at Evergreen this afternoon and raised an upper 30's tiger.....but thats it.

Thanx for posting Kevin. Below is the official sign the WDFW has adopted. The line about northern pike being stocked and present was deleted per their request.
These signs should be posted at both Silver and Newman lakes in the Spokane area. They were given to Marc Divens in May.
