Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

I need to retire my old Remmington Preditor tube after 16 great years of use.  It seems that many new advancements have been made and more manufacturers are out there.  Looking at Cabela's Website I have seen Classic Accessories, Fish Cat 4 and Creek Company.  These are all about in the price range I am looking at.  They all have good reviews, but I take these with a grain of salt.  I would more likely be swayed by comments I get on this post rather than Cabela's reviews.  If anybody has one of these and can give me their opinion on the pros and cons, I would be greatful.

Thanks, David

David, I've got the Classic Accessories "Cumberland". 3rd year and no probems. Pro's: I like the adjustable back rest and the foam seat. I like the 2 side containers. I usually carry about 3 rods. Cons: Beer spills to easily in holder.

Hey Larry, appreciate the feedback.  Good info on the pros although the con has me thinking twice :)
Coming from a float tube guy for the last 12 years, I love the Caddis products. I have a Navigator VI that I've used for the last 9 years and I love it. A buddy has a Navigator IV, and what I like about his, he has a cup holder in the apron. He doesn't spill beer, but I do LOL. I had a tube similar to the Fish Cat design with the upswept toons and the foam seat, but for me, it hurt my back and I got uncomfortable in a couple of hours of fishing. I can fish all day in the Navigator without any discomfort. My only complaint about the VI besides the cup holder, bigger storage would be nice, but I've adapted and just try and plan ahead. My buddy got a killer deal from Sierra Trading Post on his. Good luck

Thanks Jerry!  I remember back in the day I got my tube that Caddis was an up and coming company.  I had nearly forgotten about them and am glad to see that they are still making great stuff.  Looks like I am steering towards the IV and Sierra Trading Post has the tube (and fins) for $170.  Didn't see the cup holder in any of the pics, but I'll take your word that it is there.  Speaking of pics, you have some sweet looking bass youv'e caught!  As I am new to WA, I am hoping to get my rigs dialed in and land some of those bad boys too...

Thanks again to all for their feedack, David

Thanks, David. If you ever get on my side of the water, let me know...we'll get out
