This is one of my 3 grand daughters (11) who loves to fish and hunt for anything, anytime. The 16 year old isn't pictured but also loves to fish and hunt and the 3 year old, loves to fish with her "Barbie" pole, (and catches some amazingly) Anyway they used the boat (barely pictured to get around a small lake they live on. Unfortunately someone decided they needed the boat worse than my granddaughters and cut the chain that attached it to a tree near shore. Being disabled and on Social Security I can't afford to go out and replace it with a new one. It was a 10 foot Livingston (very safe for the 2 older girls to handle alone) If anyone has or knows where I can buy another used one for a VERY reasonable price (any condition as long as it floats and has oars, stolen also) please contact me. After bills, medical, rent, food etc. I have very little left so maybe we could make arrangements to pay for it. Grand daughters really miss it. I just hope whoever "borrowed" it is having as much fun as the girls did, as they must have really needed it to take this much enjoyment from a kid.

My sister lives on the same lake. Here is what she had to say:
Chad,
Yes it was tagged with the association sticker. We used to leave it just on the beach and people would borrow it and always returned it. then they started just letting it float into the brush out of sight, so we chained it. I was told that a neighbor saw 2 young people load it into a truck one evening, but didn't think anything about it (figured it was theirs, I guess) (I sent a friend request to you so I could explain everything in more detail.) (we did check at Goodwill, by the way, but thanks for the suggestion)
Jon,
Hopefully someone hooks you up. Thats a bummer of a story. Keep an eye out anytime you are driving. You will see alot of boats like that in peoples side yards just collecting moss, and would probably give it away for a small sum, or even for nothing. You might spring for a little 2 person inflatable to get em through the year until you can figure something out. Good luck.
