Washington Fishing

The Online Source for Washington Fishing Information

Hey folks, fished Silver Lake 2 weekends ago. Before we fished we were told that if we caught any(walleyes) to keep them. First, I always thought it looked kinda walleyeish. 2nd, never heard of them being caught there. 3rd was told that there are some in the lake. And finally has anyone ever caught one there? Just would like to know, Thanks.

Todd,

I have fished Silver a few times over the years.
Never heard of Walleyes in there.
Muskies, LMB and Brown trout.

My buddy and I caught walleye out of Silver in the past when night fishing for tigers. The last time I caught one was 07. I don't night fish Silver anymore though because there wasn't ever a good musky night bite. Walleye we caught were on jointed rapalas.
They might have come from some illegal releases or from some trapped at Sprague before Rehab? Just guessing.
