Hey David,

I would contact 3:16. Mention that you are a friend of mine and would like to order the Hyper Herring in a kokanee color if it is available. Let me know what they say.

Hey Tag,
I was wondering if it is possible to order a kokanee pattern in this bait from 3:16 or if it is still in the works. I looked on their site and it looks like the blue back and shad are the only colors they are selling. Do you think they would be able to make me one if I asked for a Kokanee pattern? thanks!

Hey Troy,

I throw my swimbaits on a variety of Lamiglas rods, depending on the line size and weight of the swimbait. 7', 7'2", 7'6", 7'9" and 8 foot rods in medium/heavy, heavy and extra heavy actions. The G-Loomis swimbait rods are pretty sweet also.

This bait is a flat out fish catcher. The first trip out with this prototype I caught around 20 fish in an afternoon, averaging about 4 pounds. There have been a few modifications since the prototype stage and the lure is now available at www.316lurecompany.com. It is called the Hyper Herring. Highly recommend. Check out the vid clips that show the action. I think you'll be impressed. The best part about the sinking model is the ability to control the depth. Because of the bill, it will track at the depth you begin your retrieve until it begins to plane up when you near the boat. Awesome!
