  OK,OK, So some information isn't worth a ....  The Rufas Woods release does not measure up as advertized, seems to me that an average fish might go 2lbs, an I doubt it was over 2500 fish if that.  Its a shame that solid information is so hard to come by on that fishery, but thats just how it goes.  Walleye fishing on Rufas has slowed from the slamming start back in march, but early post spawn is often tough.  Still, a few nice fish are coming to the net, mostly on jigs, or craw…

TRUTHS AND TAILS, FAVORITEST, BESTEST, MONTH. RUFAS RELEASE!!

  So here we are in May, water temps ranging fron 53 to near 60 degrees in the "pocket water" areas.  As expected, the crawdad imitating bite is improving steadily as the signal craws move closer to thier spawn.  Smallmouth are responding with abandon to cranks or plastics representing craws on both Banks and Roosevelt.  Fish from 3 to 12 ft. depending on light and wind conditions.  Walleye in the northern basin are either spawn or post spawn.  More "empty" fish being caught in the last few…
