I've been looking at the XC704J, but was hoping I could get your opinion before pulling the trigger. I like a pretty fast tip and it appears this will fit the bill. If you get a chance please give me your recomendation, and if anyone you know of carries them there on the west side. I'll be coming that way for the ABA this weekend.

I wasn't too encouraged by my experiences at Wallula. Setting aside my navigation problems I just couldn't figure it out. The very first day I fished it Bill and I caught a bunch of fish on bridge pilings and obvious stuff. It kind of went downhill after that. I only ever found one spot. It was on the main river about a hundred yards downcurrent from that big flat in front of the mouth of the Yakima. I am definitely going to fish Moses this year. That place looks like a lot of fun.
