PJ, you didn't miss out on anything crazy. We ended up starting around 6:30ish and fished until roughly 11. The bite was pretty consistent for us...but mostly dinks. I stuck with a spinnerbait the whole time and caught a few small ones but nothing big.

Good luck over at Martha, i heard they got some giants out there!

PJ, I'll be heading over to Haller Lake with a couple buddies at 6:30 AM tomorrow morning. I know its short notice but Haller Lake is biting hard these past days for me, so I've been wanting to hit Haller hard in the morning since the afternoons have been doing well. I'll be throwing buzzbaits and spinnerbaits.

Let me know if you wanna come join us...or I guess I'll just see you out there on the water.

Hey PJ, thanks for the comment on the nice humpy! Definitely was amazing for me since its my first salmon ever. Yeah people are saying they've started heading into the rivers but I'm also thinking they're not quite in the sound thick yet...tides are settling down for mornings in a couple weeks which should be good fishing then.

So you live by Haller? I live literally a few blocks from Haller and I've fished there a bit. First time on my pontoon this past week and absolutely love the lake.
I've fished with Quadfather over at Bitter as well. We should fish Haller together sometime.

PJ,

So you've been fishing Haller? Where do you live around here? Haller is less than 5 minutes from my house. I am over by Carkeek Park. 122nd. Do you have a float tube? If you want to get together and fish Haller/Bitter some time, let me know. I've got a 14' Lund also.

Nice meeting ya man, I thought you were on the other site.

I fished from 3 pm to 7 pm. I ended up with 11 smallies. Biggest one 4lbs. All on dropshots.

It seems like I use my smaller boat more than my bass boat. When you get more used to the area, maybe we can hit some smaller lakes. I have a 9 foot boat but it really only fishes 1, so maybe we can meet up at a lake. I'll get on WA more in the upcoming months.

Nice pics, and welcome to the site. Looks like the Float tube bass is the biggest out of your pics, what did it weigh ?
