Your right, there aren't many Largemouth in Tapps. I caught about half a dozen last year on Musky tackle but they all were small. I was fishing another lake on sunday when I got the bass. I may hit Tapps friday for a few hours if the weather is okay. Mike.

Went bass fishing on Sunday, got 5 including a 7.1 pound Largie. Fished Tapps Tuesday for a few hours, saw 1 Tiger. No follows. water is around 50 now so it won't be long. Mike.

Thanks for the info Kevin. I have only ever caught Trout, so I am really looking forward to trying salmon and bass. We are in Lake Stevens, I am still learning the area.

Thanks kevin............the lake has actually dropped the last 2 days. I wish the ywould just fill it up! Finally got the boat done and it's ready to go. I may drop it in in the next few weeks. Mike.

took the boat out yesterday for a few hours. Easy to launch and the water level is just fine, maybe 4-5 feet down. As long as you stay main channel and avoid the known shallow areas you will be just fine.

Well Dwight, thanks for asking about me. My computer went down. The board on my laptop stopped working and now I have purchased a new DELL. Happy as apple pie now. Hey, I went to Tapps yesterday and caught nothing, only shore fishing. With the water coming up, I have some underwater deep structure that I am looking into hitting. I'll message you when I get the chance to head out there. PS - I bought a Muskie rod (Cabelas XMLTi on clearance) and am now hurting for the chance to catch one.

The sturgeon was from the Columbia R. near the lowest bridge (Astoria) on the WA. side, upstream from Illwaco.

Had a calm day and was pretty tired after reeling all day!
