Awesome. Look forward to it Russ.

Are Hobbs and Boomer doing the same presentation as last year?

The only one I caught was Boomers.  I'd like to see it again.

Fellas,

My plan was to modify the presentation a bit, but I am taking suggestions on content.  The disclaimer would be that I can only speak on something I feel I'm competent at.  For instance, "How to weigh 9.72lbs at Potholes in June" is something I feel I can discuss at length.  So anyways, post your suggestions, and I'm sure that either Hobbs, Jordan or myself will be able to come up with something.

I do plan on adding a 5 Minute session at the end of my seminar, and calling it "The Roast of Ron Hobbs."  Should be fun.

- j.boomer

Boomer hit the nail on the head - I was planning on talking about basics of smallmouth and largemouth fishing and trying to keep it around 45 minutes with 15 minute Q&A - if there's anything specific I'd love to share what I have learned and how I do things.

Hey Guys I would like to hear some good feed back on Swimming Jigs . Looking forward to a fun Seminar

Can you guys talk about pre fishing. ..how you guys not only find fish, but also how you find the right fish that put you in a position to win on a regular basis

Joel,  I'll add that to my seminar.  Generally, since my fishing is 99% tournament or pre-fishing for tournaments, the Percentage Triangle theory is utilized quite a bit.  I can share my thoughts on how to practice for an event and what size fish you should search for.

Swimming Jigs - I can touch on that a bit, but I believe that Mr. Hobbs is the man at that technique.  I do have a few tricks that I've been taught over the years that are worth repeating.

Any other ideas, send them over.

I am going to talk about something different, I will be talking about different details of rigging based upon technique. Hooks lines sinkers knots other rig tricks, not so much rod reel talk. Any other suggestions I would like to hear them.
Boomer and I can talk on team fishing dynamics and what we feel are important factors. From prefish to weigh in.

Swim jigs are super easy, it's in the details to catch more fish on them than anyone else. The jig, all swim jigs are not the same, and the trailer matching the action to what is going on. After that it's just chunk and wind.

Ron Hobbs Jr.  Quotes:

"I fish against myself, not the fish or the other guys"

"Let the scales do the talking"

"Chunk and wind"

Jr.....  Is there a book of famous fishing quotes (FFQ) in your future?

Here's  my take on the percentage triangle. Hard work, hours on the water and dedication. You can read all you want online, magazines, videos, etc. If you want to be the best, spend time on the water and experiment. Quit listening to the crap that the salesmen is selling. Hard work will make you a success, smoke and mirrors is nothing but smoke and mirrors. Half of what you read is BS, guys trying to sell their sponsors. Been there, done that. Bottom line, a bass has a brain the size of a BB. If you can make them eat, they will eat. Think outside the box and figure it out! There is no real magic, quit looking for the "Holy Grail" and save yourself a ton of money.

Just to clarify, there is NO cost for any of the Limit Out Seminars.  There is a free lunch provided as well.

I do agree with Dana, that hard work and time on the water are critical in successful tournament fishing.  That being said, not all successful fishing is measured via a tournament weigh-in.  Some days, success is figuring out how too catch fish on a swim jig, or watching your children catch a fish or two.

These seminars are open discussions, and can be tailor-made for everyone who attends.  The Percentage Triangle is not a theory that's for sale (it's free.)  It was developed by Seth Burrill, who is a great fisherman, and an even better teacher.  This is the same theory that Brandon Palaniuk teaches at his Bass University sessions around the country (those are not free.)  We both credit Seth for the creation of this thought process, and I personally utilize it at every tournament prefish and event.  It's not rocket science, just a way of looking at conditions.  If you learn it, you may be able to apply your own methods to suite your measure of success.

Anyways, I am looking forward the seminars and talking fishing with everyone.  Cabin fever has set in, and I spent the whole weekend walleye fishing.  One weekend a year seems to be the most I can take... bring on bass season.
