If you don't mind I would like to take a moment and share something close to my heart with all of you. With all the fishing we have coming up. The fishing that's been going on. Our minds are on gear, boats and setting up. Don't forget your friends & loved ones. I have been at Harborveiw all week. My younger Brother is in critical condition from a motorcycle accident, he finaly opened his eyes and now he can't see. I'm not trying to bring anybody down,and maybe this not the place. But I'm doing some serious inventory here. As I held him I realized it's been at least 30yrs since the last time I did this. Get on the water and keep the lines tight,and boats running. But please!!! don't do a me and wait till something like this happens to see the true value we have in our family and our friends . I'll take all the prayers you guys can spare as I rearrange my tackel box with my family and friends. Just wanted to let you know. A lot of you mean the world to me.

Steffen just sent me a note back answering my insurance question and minimum size limit for fish. It would be great to find a place where I could look up this kind of information and not have to ask.
Has wafish thought about making an information link for beginner tournament participants? I have noticed a lot of new people joining wafish and maybe if they had a basic tournament information link they would be more inclined to show up for a tournament as a newbie.
Then again maybe it’s just me being a tournament “newbie”, but I would sure love to be pointed in the right direction for need to knows.
I make it a point to read the wafish comments daily and am always surprised by what I come away with. I’m always learning something.

I was hoping to track down Steffen yesterday or today so I could make sure my boat had enough insurance for the tournament this coming weekend.
“Hi Steffen, I am thinking about participating in your tournament this weekend. Would you know what the minimum boat insurance requirements are for this tournament? I would also like to know if there is a minimum size limit for fish caught. Thanks, Sabrina”
This will be my first tournament so I am unsure as to some of the rules and where on wafish I can find them. Any help would be great.
