Certainly tons of options out there. I'm a member with Western Bass. I really like this group and its very
family friendly, that was the real kicker in joining them.
Another good club is Rainier Bass Club, tons of good folks in there as well.
Best of luck on your search
Very interesting. Thanks for you input. I believe I talked to one of the members from that club at the tournament last weekend. Seemed like a real nice guy. I will keep your experience in mind. I need to get into a club soon.

Info is a little old but shows some stuff. Come out first Wed of the month and check it out! Good mix of very experienced older members and new sticks with lots of ambition!
I know just the club for you T-bone.......
John the best thing you can do is attend a meeting or two and make no commitment till you find the right fit. Some clubs are better for guys new to tournament fishing or bass fishing in general. In your area, the Hawg Hunters, Capital City, Evergreen, Rainier/Firecreek are the closest active clubs. Driving north a bit WBA, and Westernbassclub are both active. Down south Mt. St. Helens, and Lewis county are both active clubs. Don't be to quick to jump into any one particular club. Attend a few meeting and see whats a good fit. People tend to stick with the same club for years as friendships build.
I think I found the right fit for me. I went to the Evergreen meeting, and I gotta say, they are a great bunch of folks there. A very good mix of leisure and competitive anglers, and every one of them was very friendly. I have been very unsure about joining a club for a while now, but I found the right fit for me.
Big thanks to everyone at Evergreen for your hospitality!
