So i have a loomis swimbait rod that came with a cracked and crooked bottom eyelet. It hasnt even seen the water.

 Whats a better option.

To send it back to the loomis factory?

Or is there someone that can just fix it?

Thanks guys

Or would i be able to bring it into 3 rivers and swap it out.
Well the whole eye is messed up. The epoxy is cracked along with it being set crooked. Thats all that needs replacing.

Yes but i want to have it back by the end of the month and from what ive heard loomis has a slow turn around. Thats why i was asking if it can be done somewhere else or having someone just replace the eye.

I bought the rod from tacklewarehouse but was told 3 rivers would swap it out if they had the rod in stock. So i was hoping Jordan or Berto could chime in.

So...is said rod brand new or new and not used? If new, why even ask. If not new...contact Loomis and ask what your options are. Or as mentioned...contact 3 Rivers. Kinda simple
well i got it for christmas. But have not even used it. It still has the loomis sticker on the cork handle. Im trying to figure out the quickest and cheapest option. Its cheaper for me if 3 rivers could replace it then having to ship it to loomis as i would have to pay for shipping.
I'd say take it to 3 Rivers next weekend...during the seminar. See what they can do or recommend.

im slowly making the switch to dobyns.

Thanks craig for the details.

Jerry i plan on doing that.

Hopefully they will be cool with that

They are called guides, not eyelets.

Loomis expedite is $100 which is getting you a new rod in like 2 days or we can ship it to Loomis for you for a small shipping charge and they will fix it or replace it and you will get it back in a week or ?, those are your options.

Austin I would just have the guide rewrapped its fast takes 2 days or less and cost is cheap. If it still has the original price tag as you state it does you should be able to take it in to any Gloomis dealer and send it in under warranty you don't need to expidite.

Thanks Chris and Nick.

Chris are you recomending to take it to another person or too ship it back to loomis?

I dont wanna have to take spend the oney to ship it for something that was a manufacture defect. Thats why i was thinking of having someone else just put a new guide on.
