I pretty much was making a joke of the 3 posts of different polls that were going down I made like 10 polls in a row and then an 11th one all of them got erased but the 11th one.  I did not see the purpose in the polls they was no explanation why we could have only one pick and if we had more than one it would not count......count....count for what, what was this poll going to be used for, or by who?  The poll was not explained.

 

As far being my website....that would be awesome, maybe I would have some extra money for buying some Dobyns Championship rods.

I don't how you can even see it as a tantrum either? Personal opinions were allowed last time I checked and I am prepared to take the critisism for them, but for you to call it a tantrum, I think it is more worthy of a different title.

As far as I know you are another fictational character on here just to give people crap, it seems as if you know a little too much to be new to the scene.

This all started over a tantrum Ron had because he was tired of seeing polls on his, I mean Jordan's, website?

Craigs reply should be good. But honestly I think he is hiding in the dark tunnel of foolishness after trying to educate us on the "spawning" thread, which he deleted shortly after posting.

You say using a high-end rod makes you a better fisherman, I say it doesn't.  Do I like certain aspects of "high-end" rods?  Sure.  They are better built, better components, better warranty, lighter, etc.  I have lots of high-end rods.  I can't look anyone in the eye and tell them spending more for a rod will make them better.  In fact, I just got rid of some $230 rods in favor of some $100 rods.

 

Put yourself in the guy's shoes who is using a $30 rod.  Someone comes on here and starts telling you to go ahead and use your cheap rod - 'cause the guys with the high end rods will catch most of the fish.  I'm just gonna go ahead and call b.s. on that.  If you really want to help, answer the guy's question about staging fish.  Don't give people the impression that to be a real stick you need to fish with expensive ones.

 

Somebody should let Palaniuk know that his $99 Veritas rods aren't gonna cut it.  For $50 more, he could step up to VanDam's rod for $149 - still not a high end rod.  I wonder if those guys know they could be doing so much better with $200-$500 dollar rods.

Good is the enemy of great...  That is how I treat my rod selection. With a rod under $100 have you ever been able to tell the diff between sand and clay at 30-40 feet? Tell the diff between kinds of grasses? Ever been able to count blades of grass with a jig? Been able to tell the diff between pebbles and golf ball sized rock at 30-40 feet?... You can with a high end rod. It's all about the sensitivity a elite rod brings to the table.

Makin' the sponsors proud!  That has to be the funniest........... I bet my sponsors were probably thinking the same thing I was about you, but whatever.

 

I hope you can come up to me one day and introduce yourself, you obviously know who I am but I don't know if I have ever met you.

 

I like to hear all these rumors about me, they are awesome, but If you have never actually met me face to face you should probably close your mouth about myself being an A-hole. 

You forget I am not a star of anykind, I am just another hard working guy with a family, I work over 40 hours a week, just like anybody else, I bust my ass just to make my house payment every month. So treat me like it and I will treat you like any other man that calls me an AHole.

 It's nice to know that Washington States best bass fishermen who is kinda the face of Washington bass fishing these days is a tantrum throwing (on multiple occasions) asshole who looks down on people who don't fish his way.... makin' the sponsors proud I see. I thought it was just dock-talk about you Hobbs but you prove it yourself.

 

I will say I at lease respect that Ron and Don show their name and faces.

Ron, In the short time I have been here I can already tell you are the kinda guy that stirs the pot and sits back to watch; while your soldiers attack any intruders. It looks like you have a pretty nice little nest here....

 

So, without attacks from your army of quick witted knuckle draggers, what was your intention of posting all those polls that were pulled down? Did you really care? Or were you having a tantrum?

I think he was making a sarcastic joke, those that saw all the posts one after the other got it, it was pretty funny.  When they all got taken down with just one remaining the joke was lost and this is what we're left with.

How original buddy. Attack the obvious similarity in the name. You really are an evil villan. If thats the best cancer you got.......................wait...............almost cured..........yep feeling better............i'm over it. That was close!

I was complimenting mr. hobbs on his brilliant performance of "cherry bombing". I am glad you came up for air long enough to defend your boy. Now get back to work.
