Is there a good method for extending the handle length of a fishing rod without removing the existing handle, reel seat, etc. and installing new components?

Thanks!

I would talk to Rick Innocenti, at Quest Custom Tackle, that guy has all the tricks for rod design.

Much appreciated, Ron.

I have a Lamiglas flipping stick that I am looking to convert into a rod for smaller to medium sized treble hook and line through swimbaits.  The action and taper are perfect, I just need an extra 6" on the handle.

Thanks again.

Greg Ross (GGR) in CA had Harry Chang add ~3 inches to the handle of a Shimano Cruial swimbait rod.  You should be able to PM Greg through either calfishing or swimbaitnation for more information.  I think Harry also has an account on swimbaitnation.  Let me know if you have trouble contacting either as I think I have Greg's phone number somewhere.
